Q: How do we grow up?
A: Slowly and then all of a sudden.
There’s a great line in John Green’s A Fault In Our Stars that says,
“As he read, I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.”
It seems we grow up in much the same way. For years we feel too young, then one day you wake up and you feel too old.
