Q: What sets me apart if everyone has the same access to information?
A: Knowing what to look for.
50 years ago, the school you went to mattered a lot because that determined the quality of the information you had access to. There was no internet. Having a large school library, or access to an instructor was your best competitive advantage.
Fast forward to today, we have the whole of human knowledge available to us at our fingertips. The number of things you can not learn on YouTube are quickly approaching zero.
The best way to differentiate yourself now is to know what to look for in the sea of information.
Cultivate an ability to seek what’s significant.
Actionable Question: Is the information you’re looking at worth knowing?
Hoping to give you something of significance,
Andrew Nemeth
